Work description
Hampshire County Council has awarded a contract to a specialist third-party provider to deliver fund disbursement services in support of the Council's administration of the Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF). The CRF was established by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) on 1 April 2026 to provide timely assistance to households experiencing financial hardship or unexpected financial shocks.
The contract will provide a secure and scalable payment solution capable of distributing support through cash-equivalent payments and/or vouchers. The service must be able to respond to fluctuating levels of demand, support effective partnership working, and maintain appropriate standards of governance, assurance, transparency and auditability.
The contract value stated in this notice represents the maximum budget available under the contract. Actual expenditure may be lower, as the contract is based on service demand and transaction volumes.
