Work description
Statement: The University of Sheffield has received legal advice that it can act in a manner whereby it is not classified as a public body within the meaning of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (Directive 2014/24/EU) as amended by the Public Procurement (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020. This procurement opportunity is operating outside of the Public Contracts Regulations named above and will not be subject to them.

It reserves its rights, in full, to adapt or step outside the procedures in the procurement regulations as the University considers necessary to fulfil the requirements outlined in the Invitation to Tender ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The University of Sheffield (University) is looking for a single provider to provide supply of labour, plant and material for the Planned Preventative Maintenance (Annual Servicing) of High Voltage network and associated equipment, in accordance with BESA SFG20 guidance including, but not limited to:
• High Voltage switchgear • High Voltage Transformers • Switch tripping units • Protection devices • Metering devices
