Description
The Council of the Borough of Kirklees is seeking to establish a programme for the delivery of tutor-led, non-accredited, community-based numeracy/mathematics courses. People who improve their numeracy skills are more likely to be in employment, have higher wages, and better wellbeing. Gaining a maths qualification at Level 2 or equivalent also unlocks the door to progress to higher levels of free training to secure a skilled job in our economy. This procurement exercise for Count Me In (the "Services") is being conducted as a General Further Competition ("Further Competition") under the Electronic Market Place (EMP) Ref: KMCAS-164; Provision of Adult Education, Training, Employment & Lifelong Learning (the "EMP"). The estimated value of the Services to be awarded is £310,000 for the duration of the contract 1st September 2025 to 31st May 2027 (2 x Academic years). The anticipated commencement date for the Call-off Contract(s) is 1st September 2025.
