## Description

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Services uses the Smart Assessor E-Portfolio System to manage learner progress through their development period\. Upon completion of the Development and Assessment Pathway, learners \(operational and control staff\) move from the development status to competent status and at that point are awarded the associated increase in pay\.
