## Description

PHE has awarded a contract to Illumina Cambridge Ltd under the PHE Microbiology Framework Lot-2 for the provision of purchase of MiniSeq sequencing Platforms in aim to provide large scale and rapid SARS-CoV-2 sequencing capacity to the four UK Public Health Agencies \(PHA's\), local NHS centres and the UK government at pace for genomic expansion\. The initial order is for one MiniSeq , additional equipment can be purchased provided that the total value of the contract is no more than GBP172,824\.00 ex VAT\. It is a PHE wide one year contract\.
