EBBC - Complex Debt Recovery Service - Request for Information

East Sussex District and Borough Council's (Lewes, Eastbourne, Wealden, Rother and Hastings) have a number of income streams and subsequent related debt that are either collected in-house or contracted out to a third party.

The purpose of this RFI is to ascertain the capability and appetite of the Complex High Value Debt Recovery and Management market to support the collection and recovery of arrears from the Complex Debts that are currently administered in-house or are currently outsourced. This includes the potential cost of recovery to each Council. Primarily we would be looking to recover Council Tax and National Non-Domestic Rates (post Liability Order) but could include other debt streams such as Overpaid Housing Benefit
