219 - Children Missing from Home or Care

Wigan Council, with support for the Wigan Safeguarding Children's Board, are seeking to commission an independent provider to ensure that the risks and needs of children who are going missing are properly understood and responded to effectively. We wish to continue to build on the positive practice and continue to develop and analyse information to consider the 'so what' element. The Children Missing from Home or Care Service will provide a co-ordinated response to all children in Wigan who are missing from home or care.
