## Description

Stafford Borough Council intends to award a contract under a JCT form of contract to appoint a principal contractor to carry out the works below\. The site, in Stone, Staffordshire, currently has an existing Westbridge Park Fitness Centre, which sits between the new Stone Leisure Centre currently being built by Willmott Dixon that is due to be open on starting of this works package, and an occupied new Marks and Spencer's Store\. This package consists of demolition of the existing Westbridge Park Fitness Centre and the associated car park works which, on completion, will become part of and finalise, the new Stone Leisure Centre complex\. \(Staffordshire County Council are assisting with the procurement for Stafford Borough council\)\. Additional information: This was an electronic tender\. All submission were made via the formal Staffordshire County Council electronic tendering platform\.
