Description
The Authority will expect the Service Provider to recover approximately 100 vehicles per year from all areas of the county. Caravans, trailers and motor cycles will also require recovery and on very rare occasions HGV vehicles may require recovery. Some vehicles will require recovery within 4 hours of report, where it provides a safety hazard or it is likely to be removed by the owner. Most recovery periods would be negotiated with the Authority's officers. Abandoned vehicles are stored until enquiries are complete. Storage charges will start from the date the council is notified that the vehicle has been collected and stored. Notification must be in the form of an email to the council.
