GB-Kings Lynn: Public Health Funerals

The Borough Council of Kings Lynn and West Norfolk is inviting tenders to provide Funeral Services on behalf of the Borough of Kings Lynn and West Norfolk, under section 46 of the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984, which places a duty on a local authority to make arrangements for the burial or cremation of any person who dies in its area, where the authority is satisfied that no other arrangements by another person or agency have been made or are being made.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
