## Description

University Hospitals Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, Isle of Wight NHS Trust, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and Solent NHS Trust \("The collaborating Trusts"\) are joining resources to provide a combined Employee Assistance programme as part of their broader staff health and well-being strategies\. An Employee Assistance Programme will provide care and support for all employees of the collaborating Trusts by helping to achieve the following: - Promotion of positive mental health and supporting employees in achieving a work-life balance\. - Illustrate a duty of care for all employees\. - Minimise the risk of litigation for the collaborating Trusts\. - Provide a confidential and free service for employees \(& dependants\)who may feel unable to turn elsewhere\. - Improve the productivity and efficiency through improving the employee's wellbeing, ultimately reducing staff absenteeism and turnover rates\. - Demonstrate and evidence how the programme is tackling the issues of harassment and bullying in the workplace\. - Supporting staff and / or teams in challenging periods\.
