Description
The purpose of this notice is to inform the market that NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (HWE ICB) has awarded a contract to The Stroke Association to continue to deliver services within the West Essex area. This service supports the recovery of stroke survivors providing information, support and advice. The service has been delivered by The Stroke Association since 2014. This was originally commissioned by West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group and the contract transferred to HWE ICB on 1st July 2022. The total value of the contract since 2014 is £411,364 (exclusive of VAT). The new contract is for a period of 2-years and will allow time for HWE ICB to understand its commissioning intentions for this service to ensure that the patients receive the best service possible. The new contract will end on 31st March 2025. The value of the new contract is £99,432. This is a total cumulative value of £510,796 (excluding VAT).
