Description
The works are to carry out the refurbishment of the office space at Beaumont Way offices and some refurbishment within the library area. The property sits adjacent to the Beaumont Leys shopping centre. It is 2 stories in part and houses the Beaumont Leys Library and also offers separate office accommodation. To maximise space on the first floor the internal partitioning and offices are to be removed and the whole floor (including toilets) are to be refurbished. This will create a flexible, open plan environment for staff. The programme for the works is in 2 phases – i.e. the first floor is refurbished, once complete, work can then start on the ground floor. The library will be closed for a set period of time, and that will allow redecoration, replacement of lighting, floor finishes etc to take place. On the ground floor, as well as the library there are back offices, kitchens and toilets to refurbish.
