## Description

Royal Holloway wishes to purchase a number of GMV ground-based robots with both remote control capability as well as autonomous guidance via on-board sensors, cameras and computing\. The robots are intended primarily as research platforms making use of the supplied control and guidance and/or customised capabilities to support a wide range of activities\. Royal Holloway also requires a controllable robot arm and a LIDAR \(Light Detecting and Ranging\) system, which may be attached to at least one of the robots\. In addition to the equipment, Royal Holloway wishes to purchase two training courses; the first as a general introduction to the equipment and its operation \(up to 20 trainees\); the second \(for up to 12 trainees\) covering autonomy software \(including a GMV solution used by a Royal Holloway collaborator\) and research applications\. This RFQ process will be run via the university's Delta e-Sourcing portal and all responses must be submitted electronically via the portal\.
