Work description
The Newspaper Licensing Agency ((NLA) whose company name is NLA Media Access Ltd)) is the statutory licensing agency for the lawful copying of newspaper content. Without a license through the NLA, HM Treasury will be unable to lawfully photocopy, scan, email, and distribute published news items.
HM Treasury, due to the nature of the work of the department, have a requirement to distribute electronic cuttings to the widest possible audience. This allows policy advisors to be better informed about the nature of the news in real time, which means the most informed policy advice is published.
