## Description

The Surrey Pension Fund Committee undertakes statutory functions on behalf of the Local Government Pension Scheme \(LGPS\)\. SCC is an administering authority for the LGPS and established the Pension Fund Committee\. One of the Pension Fund Committee's responsibilities is to appoint and monitor all relevant external providers, including actuaries\. Under LGPS Regulations 2013, actuaries are required to be appointed\. SCC is responsible for administering the fund\.
