Bower House Security

The Guinness Partnership Limited (TGPL) is seeking to appoint a SIA Accredited provider to supply on site security at its Corporate Centre. Bower House is located at 1 Stable Street Hollinwood Oldham, OL9 7LH and is the main administrative headquarters for The Guinness Partnership Limited.

Bower House consists of a three storey office block with a main core and two wings. There is one main entrance, where the reception is located, and several emergency exits located around the building; the property also has car parks and external gardens all of which are monitored by CCTV. Guards will be required to lock and secure car parks and conduct a number of building patrols. The appointed supplier will also be required to provide a key holding service for other TGPL offices in the area.

As the building welcomes a wide variety of visitors, a high level of professionalism and customer service focus is required. The guards will act as site point of contact out of normal hours. The office is staffed 24 hours a day 365 days a year, but with a much reduced staff level during the evening and night hours.

The appointed provider will be required to supply guards for the hours of 16:45 to 08:15 Monday to Friday and 48 hours at weekends(125.5 hours per week), plus all statutory bank and public holidays. There will also be a requirement for 24 hour cover on an additional four days around Christmas and New Year.

There is an incumbent supplier so it would be likely that TUPE would apply if a new supplier were appointed.

TGPL would be seeking an all inclusive price per hour that spread the cost of weekends and public holidays across the year.
