WCC - Rating Revaluation 2017 - AWARD

Warwickshire County Council (the Council) is looking to appoint rating consultants to act on their behalf, for the duration of the 2017 Rating List. With a portfolio of approximately 450 properties, the Consultant will advise the Council on all matters of rating generally and, in particular, with a view to reducing the Council's total rateable value. This will be done by investigating and suggesting opportunities for rates savings and/or minimising any increases. The Consultant will cooperate and engage fully with the VOA in the various stages of the "Check, Challenge and Appeal" system (or other procedure as appropriate for non-bulk classes of property) to ensure that the correct rateable value is agreed or confirmed and report the outcome, including savings where appropriate, electronically to the Council.
