## Description

The primary objective of this project is to create a suite of pantograph gauges that can be used in the compatibility assessment of rolling stock/pantographs on different routes\. In doing so the project will enable the rail industry to introduce/cascade rolling stock in a quicker and more cost-effective manner and additionally, knowledge developed in doing so could lead to improvements in pantograph/OCL system performance\. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises \(SMEs\)\. However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement\.
