Description
Publicly Available Specification (PAS) 96: Defending food and drink. PAS 96 was first published in 2008, revised in 2010 and 2014 . It gives advice to all food businesses on how to minimise and mitigate the threat to food and food supply of malicious attack. Previous editions have been extensively downloaded and are felt to have been particularly useful to small and medium sized food enterprises. The principles of 'food defence' enshrined in PAS 96 are pertinent to the topical issue of cyber threat. This revision will encompass this aspect to align with the Governments National Cyber Security Strategy 2016-2021.
