## Description

The works to reinstate the building and flats broadly include: · Demolition of the roof over affected wing of the building, including structural elements such as timber and masonry above eaves level\. · Clearance of collapsed debris throughout the building\. · Internal strip out of all flats of the affected wing of the building\. · Internal strip out of all damaged or affected services\. · Note, some elements of the 2nd floor masonry may require demolition, subject to further testing to be carried out after the roof debris has been cleared\. · Reconstruction of the roof, reinstating the traditional timber, pitched, tiled roof\. · Reinstatement of weatherproofing and external architecture, as required\. · Reconstruction of masonry above eaves level\. · Reinstatement of internal and external finishes as required\. · Reinstatement of building services as required Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises \(SMEs\)\. However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement\.
