WP12.6 Internal Doors

Scope of work:

The internal doors package consists of 600 No. metal doorsets for the HS2 station areas, incorporating the Great Western Main Line (GWML) conventional station and Shared Accommodation Building (SAB), and comprises of the following scope: • Detailed design, supply and installation of station internal doorsets to the SAB, GWML and HS2 station areas, including all associated testing and certification of the works as a complete system (incl. ironmongery, F.I.R.A.S accredited intumescent seals etc.). • Doors to be certified to HS2's requirements for security, fire, acoustic ratings, and pressure, where applicable. • Works to be fully coordinated with wall substrate, aperture opening size, wall linings and cladding finishes. • Provide RIBA 5 design including but not limited to fabrication drawings showing general arrangements, elevations, interface details, fixings details, seals, ironmongery components and performance requirements for construction. • Provide samples, prototypes and mock-ups as required • Key suiting and access standardisation to HS2's requirements.
